Recovery & Aftercare

Following Renuvion, Dr. Allegra may prescribe antibiotics to prevent infection. He may also recommend wearing a compression garment to promote further skin tightening and prevent side effects such as swelling. It is similar to the recovery after liposuction surgery.

Dr. Allegra typically recommends five to seven days off work. This may vary based on your medical history and procedure. As far as side effects, you may experience some minor swelling, bruising, pain, redness, tenderness, and itchiness. Generally, these are manageable and bearable.
