Tanning Industry Supplying Misleading Information

Tsk Tsk.That those tanning salons are not telling the truth is not surprising, is it? A study was recently done were people called 300 tanning salons around the country posing as 16-year old fair-skinned girls. The salons were asked if there was any health risk (specifically, cancer risk) associated with tanning. 90% of salons said there were no health risk associated with indoor tanning. Well, that’s just a bunch of !#@! hooey! Did you know there are more tanning salons than Starbucks? It is a huge industry that has aggressive lobbying groups in Washington D.C.Remember: it’s ok to be the color you were born.
