NAD+IV Treatment In Bellevue & Kirkland, Washington

If you’ve been searching for ways to support your overall well-being and explore the potential of regenerative medicine, you may have come across the term “NAD+IV therapy.” Here at Northwest Face & Body, we’re excited to offer NAD+IV treatments to those who want to learn how this therapy may help optimize their wellness journey.  It is important to note that IV NAD+ therapy is not FDA-approved, and the IV infusion is not meant to treat, prevent, or alter any disease process or ailments.

Today, we’ll chat about what NAD+IV therapy is, why you may consider it, and what you can expect when you walk through our doors for this innovative infusion therapy.

What is NAD+IV Therapy?

NAD+IV therapy is an intravenous infusion of NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), a coenzyme found in every cell of the body. NAD+ is central to various cellular functions, including energy production and metabolic processes.1 By delivering NAD+ directly into the bloodstream, NAD+IV therapy aims to raise the levels of this coenzyme in the body more quickly than oral supplements or dietary sources might.2The science behind NAD+ is quite fascinating. Our bodies naturally produce NAD+, but levels may decline with age or due to lifestyle factors.3 By replenishing these levels, NAD+IV therapy can help support natural cellular processes, such as energy metabolism and cellular repair.1 We sometimes describe it as giving your cells a little bit of an “extra nudge” to keep them functioning at their best.

Why Get NAD+IV Therapy?

NAD+IV therapy may offer several potential benefits. It’s important to note that everyone’s body is unique, so individual experiences may vary. That said, people often seek out NAD+IV therapy because it may:
  • Support Energy Levels: Some individuals feel that NAD+IV therapy can provide a boost in energy and reduce feelings of fatigue.4
  • Promote Mental Clarity: It may help with improved focus and attention.5
  • Aid Recovery: NAD+ may assist in the body’s natural repair processes, which can be beneficial after strenuous activities or stress.6
  • Encourage Cellular Health: Because NAD+ is involved in metabolic processes, it may support overall cellular health.7
Please note that these benefits are not yet approved by the FDA.Before starting any new therapy, especially one intended to enhance well-being, it’s wise to consult with a qualified medical professional who can help determine if it’s a suitable option for your health needs. While research is ongoing, early findings suggest that replenishing NAD+ levels through IV therapy may have promising implications for certain aspects of health.3

NAD+IV Therapy: What To Expect

At Northwest Face & Body, we strive to make every aspect of your treatment as comfortable and personalized as possible. Here’s a quick walk-through of the process:
  • Initial Consultation: Our first step is getting to know you. We’ll discuss your health history, any concerns or goals, and determine if NAD+IV therapy may be right for you. It’s also a chance to ask questions and make sure you’re fully informed.
  • Infusion Therapy: On the day of your session, you’ll be guided into one of our comfortable treatment rooms. A small IV line will be placed, and the NAD+ solution will be slowly administered. The duration can vary, but typically, it may take a couple of hours. Some people like to read, listen to music, or simply relax during the infusion.
  • Aftercare: Once your infusion is complete, we’ll briefly monitor you to make sure everything looks good. You can usually get right back to your day without much downtime. We do recommend staying hydrated and paying attention to your body’s cues.8 If you have any questions or concerns afterward, we’re just a phone call away.
Many patients choose to come in for a series of sessions, spaced out over weeks or months, to maintain the benefits of NAD+IV therapy potentially.9 We’ll tailor a plan based on your specific goals and how your body responds.
